LI: To calculate and consider my SPENDING and BUDGETING.
This resource is great for IDL during a Jacobite/Scottish topic. Learners have been invited to a Jacobite party and they must choose garments to make a complete outfit. They must calculate their spending and then work within a budget making substitutions if they have overspent.
Learners enjoy drawing out their outfit and adding price labels to their pictures. They are engaged and share their outcomes with the class during a plenary.
