It can be really difficult remembering all the reagents, conditions and types of reactions for how we make the different organic compounds. You need to remember all of them from year 12 and 13 organic chemistry

This revision summary map of all the routes makes it easy for students to test their knowledge. The first slide is a complete summary map of the synthetic routes. The following slides have increasingly missing parts that they are to fill in from memory. Doing this every other day or once a week will really improve students recall.

Also, you can print onto A3 and laminate so that they can use a fine whiteboard pen to complete in class as a starter or during revision. This way the resource can be used over and over again.
