A moon buggy for Neil Armstrong

This is a detailed unit plan, tried and tested, for Year 5 for DT, covering one term, covering pulleys and incorporating electricity. Included is a presentation for the whole unit which covers the life story of Henry Ford and the development of cars using assembly lines.
There are several ideas in the plan for how children can create a moon buggy, individually or for a large project a whole class buggy which can be tested outside on a ‘lunar landscape’.
