Adapting Communication to Suit Needs

This lesson was created for the Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning course. TDA 3.1 Communication and Professional Relationships . It meets the criteria for 2,2 Explain how to adapt communication to suit the needs of children and young people. The powerpoint includes a starter and plenary activity, and supports students in being able to identify three reasons why communication may need to be adapted (for different contexts, different communication needs/challenges, for developmental stage).
