Allegory is a literary device used by authors to convey a hidden message. That message could be of a moral, religious, or political nature, and the author may use a character, a place, or an event (or all three) to get their message across to their audience.

In this Allegory Literary Module, we take a look at the life lessons, religious, social, and political allegory present in Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone.

THIS MODULE CONTAINS:
1 x Google Form containing:
12 x Multiple Choice questions
2 x PDF versions of the Google Form for those educators who do not wish to use Google Docs: (a student version with no answers, and a teacher version with answers.)

WHAT IS A LITERARY MODULE?
A Literary Module is a set of interactive lessons or activities that explore various elements of literary analysis based upon a book, a movie, or both, using well-known and respected Ed Tech (Educational Technology) applications like Wakelet, Kahoot/Quizalize and Google Forms.

Our Literary Modules are built using the Google Drive platform, which offers 100% customization, giving you the flexibility to mix and match modules, move things, delete, add new or edit existing questions, remove activities, or just share certain parts with your students. Our modules offer the educator a complete lesson with little to no set up required on their part. With built-in answers, our modules allow the educator to see the students who need help with their studies and those who are understanding the work.
