Antibullying drama and PSHE workshop for Reception and Year One children.

To raise awareness of what constitutes as bullying and how best to deal with these challenges in an age appropriate way within and outside primary school.

This drama workshop is designed to educate year two and three children about the dangers of bullying. It raises awareness in a safe and familiar environment through drama mediums such as discussion, role play and dressing up.

Lesson includes warm up, text work, reading, dressing up, role play, freeze frames, discussion and working as a team encouraging respect to peer group.

The purpose is for very young children to gain a gentle understanding about what bullying means and what they should do if they feel they are being treated this way.

Using a classic fairy tale and the use of toys we are able to convey this in an age appropriate fun and friendly way.

It is also important that small children understand the difference between a joke, or friendly teasing, and actual bullying.
