The following SOW is a starting point for teaching Paper 1 Telling Stories – Paris. The unit also includes an intro and language levels lectures.
The SOW is sequenced in order to develop key knowledge required for this paper and the entire course.
The SOW then offers suggestions of a teaching sequence for the texts that enables students to revisit key knowledge and compare texts. There are at least 2 essay opportunities within the SOW. The suggested text order should also enable students to develop a good understanding of Paris as place.
The SOW doesn’t offer tasks/approaches for the analysis of every text but there is a basic shape/structure and key knowledge built into the SOW.
The first page of the SOW is hyperlinked to each lesson/cluster.
The first series of lessons focuses on explicitly teaching knowledge required to understand each framework and cover a range of text types/MGAPs that should enable students to have a solid foundation to then explore the rest of the anthology.
There are a number of lessons that cover a range of texts, but not all texts are covered in the SOW.
There are at least 40 x lessons of content in the SOW – many of the ‘lessons’ will take 2-3 hours and therefore should be viewed as episodes of learning.

A fantastic and complete scheme of learning on Paris Anthology, covering all texts as well as stylistics lectures. A really thorough and comprehensive PPT. Thanks for sharing.
