This is a comprehensive workbook, revision guide an aimed at GCSE English language mastery for the AQA syllabus. This has been organised over a period of two years with a focus on assessment objective attainment.
Xrevise.org has trialled this publication for intervention programmes around London over the last two years in its early versions. In 2017, 35 students trialled the workbook and guide in select schools and tuition centres; results were exemplary: 14 x Level 6, 10 x Level 7, 9 x Level 8, 4 x Level 9. In 2018, the trial had been extended to over 100 students across London; results were again strong: 49 x Level 6, 30 x Level 7, 13 x Level 8, 8 x Level 9.
The workbook has been structured to allow an intervention or English language class to deliver this programme over a number of months; our recommendation is at least 24 to 32 weeks. This is sufficient time to cover the various classwork pieces dedicated to developing assessment objectives and sample assessments.
This is ideal for teachers, tutors, intervention mentors delivering the AQA programme (8700 /8702).

Clearly, this is a comprehensive resource, but there are formatting issues in paper 2 question 2, which sadly is the one I'd bought it for. Also, I would question whether there are copyright infringements as it includes an extract by Isobel Allende, as well as an article and photo that's just been copied from the BBC.
