A lesson introducing circuits and circuit symbols. Designed to be the second lesson taught in P2 of the AQA GCSE physics course, also suitable for higher tier Trilogy science students.

Set up for a 4 part 50 minute lesson, but adaptable.

This lesson includes an MS Word learning mat with an accompanying MS PowerPoint presentation including answers for all questions.

PLEASE NOTE - AN AQA EXAM QUESTION HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR COPYWRITE REASONS. If you have access to exampro this is easily replaced (I have included a screen grab of the first part of the question to make it easy to find)

Success Criteria
I can identify circuit symbols
I can identify series and parallel circuits
I can describe and draw series and parallel circuits.
