As a teacher of Arabic and head of department for MFL, I have produced two speaking booklets( One for the general conversation and the other is for role play and pictures) for the new Arabic GCSE speaking that teachers found very useful.
( From Pearson 22-23) : Addition to General instructions to the teacher, Paper 2
speaking, Foundation and Higher tiers: The set questions and comments must be asked as they are presented.
Exception: For prompt 5 in Foundation tier and prompts 4 and 5 in Higher tier, if
the candidate asks a question before the teacher has prompted them, the teacher must not then ask the candidate if they have a question.
