Atomic Mass and Atomic Number

This is a 9-1 EDEXCEL Lesson on the atomic mass and atomic number. The lesson gets the students to calculate the Proton, Electron and Neurton of an atom. The lesson also gives the rules for the electronic configuration. Students will also look at what an isotope is and write a definition to it.

This lesson can be given to a high ability KS3.
