Attendance and punctuality tracker

An Excel spreadsheet to track attendance (and punctuality if desired) - cells have been formatted to show a gradient fill depending on the percentage figure given in the cell, providing students with a visual representation of their attendance figure - green for the gradient fill, exposing a red background as the amount gets lower - target is to keep their cells as green as possible!

This has had success as a weekly update on attendance at the end of every week (with the following week in mind as students take on the challenge of improving their overall attendance figure) can easily update this with attendance percentage figures from your current system that reports attendance.

This has also had success as a lesson by lesson punctuality tracker - students all start with 100% punctuality at the start of the week and they lose a percentage for every lesson they are late to (can set your own percentage amount to deduct depending on how many lessons they have in a week) - students take on the challenge of trying not to let their figure drop any more for the reminder of the week by trying to make sure they are on time for their remaining lessons of the week. All figures should be reset to 100% the following week for a fresh start.

Can be shown at the start of every lesson whilst students are arriving to their lessons; just need to duplicate the sheet so you have one for attendance and one for punctuality. If you feel students would like to know which lessons they were late/to track the reason for lateness so they can see it for themselves against their punctuality percentages, a column for each lesson could be created and then you can just clear the table for the following week.
