This is a neuroaffirmative checklist to help identify behaviours that can be typical of autistic children. It focuses on possible differences including sensory, executive functioning, social/communication, anxiety/dysregulation and more. It is NOT a diagnostic tool and is designed to be used in collaboration with a SEND professional to help teaching staff identify autistic behaviours and therefore be better equipped to meet the needs of autistic young people. An additional section lists the behaviours that are often seen in autistic girls.
