The second session includes -
recap on John the Baptist
What Baptisms are like now - where they are held and who leads the ceremony
then it goes into detail about each section of the christening and what it symbolises - clothing/ god parents/ sign of the cross/ candles
Task - the children have 5 pictures of the main parts of a christening and they have to write a sentence explaining what each part symbolises
