After teaching these objectives in isolation, I made these resources to prepare Year 6 for challenging SATs questions where there need to decide whether to find a fraction of an amount, or whether to find the whole from a given fraction. Bar modelling is used throughout the flip-chart and worksheets to support the children with their understanding and working methods. The worksheets have been designed with mastery and reasoning in mind.
