Be Internet Legends: Sharp Pillar Pack

Welcome to the Be Internet Legends curriculum, which was developed in partnership between Google and Parent Zone.

Be Internet Legends is a multifaceted programme for schools, designed to help teach children aged 7 to 11 the skills they need to be safer and more confident online.

In this pack
This Sharp Pillar Pack contains a range of activities that will teach pupils to Think Before You Share when online.

The activities cover topics such as understanding which personal information is OK to share online, and which isn’t. They also explore positive digital footprints and citizenship.

Two activities have a Media Literacy focus – exploring and interpreting media in the offline world, and how visual media is framed.

It includes:

• The Sharp Pillar Pack – containing useful vocabulary, 7 classroom activities, and supporting worksheets.
• Links to three interactive lessons in Google Slides built around Sharp activities, exploring the themes ‘Online Reputation’, ‘Opinions & Differences’, and ‘Positive Digital Footprints’.
