This tool can be used to track classroom behavior, including both academics and social skills. Behavior tracker is written in English and Spanish for ESL / monolingual Spanish-speaking students and families. Use of star rating system focuses on positive reinforcement for good behavior and motivates students to earn more stars, in contrast with a thumbs-up/thumbs-down, yes/no system that may impact students’ self-esteem and feelings of guilt and shame.
