This lesson focuses on composing detailed sentences for each learner:
Self-Directed Learner (SDL)-Responsible for ones own learning
Quality Producer- recognize and produce quality performance and products
Effective and Ethical User of Technology-The ability to use a variety of technology effectively and ethically
As well as group activities. I would personalize learning by having the students that work better alone work on assignments such as how to write a sentence or create their own animal. Then have exchange it with another peer to re-read it. The group center could be they create a character game as a group to write a story with a pair of dice they follow the instructions and present it to the teacher for review… Technology would be the writing game, where they can play an interactive game to learn about adding details to a story. The cultural diversity will come to play as they will have a chance to create their own writing piece, and use their senses of how their own story will go. Parental involvement would have the parent and student continue to have the student practice using words in conversation from the descriptive word list.
