Bonjour Monsieur

This activity is designed for used as an enjoyable quick activity which can serve as a starter or plenary activity in a KS2/3 French lesson. Students are encouraged (with potential use of French/English dictionaries) to decode the descriptive names suggested by the alpha numeric code and identify the link between the three names. Each activity will take no mire than 1 minute and students can be encouraged to compete between classroom groups of the teachers organisation (row, table etc). There are 20 challenges, each relating to a different group of place names. Hyperlinks are embedded throughout the presentation for ease of navigation. The whole presentation contains 31 slides.
