UPDATED FOR November 2019 - So all up to date! How to solve Brexit? It’s a question our politicians can’t seem to answer, but perhaps our students can see a way forward! Students are given detailed information sheets on six possible ways forward: no deal, Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement, new Boris Johnson withdrawal agreement, new general election, second referendum and revoking Article 50 or cancelling Brexit. Students work in groups to decide on their preferred option before debating different sides of the debate. Finally, students develop a writing to argue piece using their ideas and discussions as a stimulus.
