This PowerPoint (plus worksheet) are designed to introduce the meaning of concentration in Chemistry and teaches students how to use cubic decimetres to calculate concentration of solutions in g dm-3. The lesson is accessible for students, easy to follow for teachers and is required learning for Combined and Triple Science classes, Foundation and Higher tiers.
Be aware: this resource covers concentration in g dm-3 only. Triple Science students will also need to learn about concentrations in mol dm-3 but this is covered in a later lesson, once moles have been introduced
