Capacitor Discharge Simulation Spreadsheet

This application uses Excel to simulate and investigate capacitor discharge.
It will allow you to quickly gather data on capacitor discharge. Students can control and enter values for Capacitance, Resistance and Charging p.d. and the simulation will then calculate values of Capacitor p.d. Provision is also made within the sheet to produce the discharge graph.
One tab introduces a possible student investigation using the simulation, his will allow students to actively gain a deeper understanding of capacitor discharge and the importance of time constant.
