This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.

This lesson follows the Cambridge KS4 curriculum and looks at logging, population increase, hydroelectric dams and others as large causes of deforestation. Impacts linked to deforestation will also be explored such as soil erosion, contribution to climate change and also the controversial impact of economic development.

This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary, exam question and various student led activities.
