Research task structured for students to use text books or ICT to research the role of pollinators and colony collapse disorder (CCD). Designed for a Year 7 Scheme of Learning. (1-2 lessons depending on ability of students.)
Task 1: Students use ICT or books to independently research the questions and statements on the worksheet; encouraging students only to collect key information. It is worth setting a time limit.
Task 2: Design an information leaflet, using the information collected in the research task and the success criteria on the worksheet. There is then space for this to be peer assessed and students can make improvements accordingly.
