Fully planned and resourced scheme of work on Charles Dickens. Planned to support KS3 on the approach to the new AQA English Lit and lang GCSEs. Most of the lessons are about analytical language skills.
Texts touched upon include: Bleak House, Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, Little Dorrit, David Copperfield, The Signal Man, some non fiction and a poem.
Every lesson includes starter, plenary/assessment opportunity (based on the AQA criteria) and an extension task. Also included is homework for the entire unit.
