Chinese New Year is a festival which celebrates the beginning of next year in the Chinese Lunar Calendar. These activities can be used as standalone activities or as part of a more in depth look at a celebration from a different culture.
The activities include: a quiz, a guided reading activity (more suited to KS2), a Top Trumps card game activity based on the Chinese Zodiac, a template and instructions for making paper lanterns and outlines of Chinese dragons to colour and create your own dragon dances!
