This lesson plan aligns with Oklahoma academic standard 1.GM.1.2, in which students will compose and decompose larger shapes using smaller shapes. Puzzles are provided with an outline of a large shape and small shapes to laminate, cut out, and place on them like a puzzle. This is an excellent math center activity!
