The PowerPoint clearly explains what conjunctions are and provides many examples and opportunities for pupils to identify and use conjunctions. It also contains a link to a short video on co-ordinating conjunctions.

Workbook

The workbook includes two information pages, six worksheets (with answers) and a progress check. Tasks include:

identifying the conjunctions - and, or, but and so
choosing the correct conjunction to complete sentences
joining sentences using conjunctions
composing own sentences containing a conjunction
