Revision and extra support for pupils learning about the history of EU expansion and current members of the EU.
File consists of cut out cards for pupils to organise into groups according to when each country joined the EU. These can also be used for general geography revision along with a large blank map. This can further lead to discussion looking at the geographical location of countries in accordance with when they joined the EU - discuss with pupils about why and what influenced expansion to these different regions.
Cut outs are complemented with a student worksheet, organised alphabetically. The first activity is to practise proper spelling (Look, Cover, Write) of country names. The second row is for pupils to learn the corresponding capital cities.
