Creative Writing 5 Objects

A quick and fun activity for children to practise coming up with plot ideas. They must pick any 5 random items and write a short story that has to include them. Ideally about 20 minutes is recommended as it is quite an experimental, fun and informal activity. Success criteria is provided to up level writing. You could always increase the time limit. Hence plots should be quite simple but could be different genres such as action, humour or tragedy. Children can use my given objects or make their own. It must include at least one person and place.
