20 page Word document with 20 extended response questions relating to the characterisation (e.g. motivations/conflicts/moral ambiguity/desire for redemption) of villains. For example, students are required to complete a grid about the fates of certain famous villains and explain why the writer might have chosen such. Students are asked to match villains with their key quotes. Students also have to create a 'spectrum of evil' and place their villains in relative positions. There is a final task which asks students to finish a partially completed, 2 page text with descriptions of their own ideas for a villain.
