This investigation was designed as a support activity in the lead up to an nrich task. The nrich task would provide an excellent extension activity to this and would follow on in a more abstract manner.
The worksheet can be used on its own or with the powerpoint for support. It is designed to develop an understanding and appreciation of the cube numbers involved and then to apply these.
