D Day Comprehension, Research and Writing Activities

This versatile lesson enables students to work on a variety of reading and writing activities based around D Day. There are comprehension tasks and vocabulary building exercises. There are also some activities to enable students to write about the events of D Day from a range of perspectives. The final exercise supports students as they use research tools to look up the histories of servicemen killed in action.
