A series of 23 Powerpoints to support Whole Class Reading teaching based on the historical fiction novel ‘Darwin’s Dragons’ by Lindsay Galvin. A great book to supplement the topic of Inheritance and Evolution.
Each Powerpoint covers either 2, 3, 4 or 5 chapters from the novel and includes a structured series of slides to ensure pupils have the opportunity to practice key reading skills based on the ERIC model (Explain, Retrieve, Interpret and Choice.) There are also question slides related to Sequencing, Prediction and Summarising.
Each Ppt also contains a ready-to-go print question slide which can be reduced in size and stuck straight into pupils’ books for them to answer.

It is excellent but I am surprised you are using the same questions as the literacy shed plus VIPERS materials... are you allowed to do that?
