Uses the full decay chain of uranium 238 as a fill in the blanks activity/challenge to find out what stable element it decays into. Good for a plenary to decay equations in KS4 or a challenge for P-16 to test ability and knowledge of radioactivity. For solutions just search for the decay chain for images like this one: http://geoinfo.nmt.edu/resources/uranium/what.html The image often give the half lives for the radioactive isotopes which can lead to extra discussion.
