Hello All,
Within this resource you will be able to access a practical designing DNA SoL with:
1 x SoL
1 x Assessment with grade boundaries
6 x Fully prepared PowerPoint lessons
Handouts and Homework tasks
Within this unit of work students will learn about the four central design principles (set design, costume design, lighting design and sound design). They will learn about how designers use core design principles within their industry to enhance performance and will be given opportunities to use the principles in practice. Students will also learn how to evaluate their use of design principles and learn how to describe how they could improve their use of design principles. This unit will culminate in a set design project where students will work in pars to create their own set design through the use of a shoebox theatre, and both describe and explain their use of set design principles in a speech to the class.
