This lesson gives students a variety of sentences to use when talking about the environment as well as introducing students to the wide range of recycling options available in Germany.
It begins with 'man kann' sentences and discusses their structure.
The lesson then goes on to demonstrate to students how to change these 'man kann' sentences into sentences with 'ich' and questions with using 'du', then gives them the chance to put these into practice. For example, students are guided through the grammatical differences between 'man kann Wasser sparen' - 'ich spare Wasser' - 'sparst du Wasser?'
A really useful lesson for groups who still find getting to grips with the present tense tricky or who prefer to understand the grammar behind sentences rather than rote learning.
