DT - Design a Bird Box

Great DT project where pupils research and then design their own bird nesting box.

I've done this with pupils from years 3 up to year 6 and all have found it to be really good fun. I do find that working with older year groups allows more opportunities to use saws, hammers and nails. However, if you have a good classroom assistant there's no reason why you can't do this with younger pupils.
