This is a workbooklet for the new Edexcel A Level history coursework. It offers a guide to the coursework task and has comprehensive notes and activities for the taught course. The booklet also contains over 20 sources for students to select from. There are also source skills activities based around cross referencing and testing historians views.
This is very rich in historian interpretations which im very impressed but i cant seem to find sources from the actual time period 1890-1914? How am i meant to show evidence for each of my themes of analysis - i occasionally see a few diary entries but i definitely do not think there is enough sources to help me in all three of themes of analysis.

Thanks for the review. Remember this coursework is about historiography and there are no marks for a analysis of primary source material. This is a good foundation for pupils.

This is brilliant................thank you. Just looking at the interpretations/sources though................ are they long enough? The spec advises that the interpretations are of article/chapter length.

Hi,<br />
<br />
Thanks for the review! The sources in the booklet will act as a starting point. You are right the three extracts they need have to be chapter length. The booklet provides them with book titles, authors and a snapshot of their argument. Hopefully it points them in the right direction enough so they can't go wrong but also gives them room to research

great stuff! I hate having to plan a new A level and this will do just nicely for this unit! Do you have anything on the British Experience of Warfare unit by any chance?
