Punishment and Justice. This resource has been designed with differentiation in mind and includes a range of activities such as videos and literacy work. The focus of this double lesson is punishment and justice with reference to recent statistics taken from the Prison Reform Trust. Topics including restorative justice, punishment and Christian attitudes are included. The aim is to lead students into the area of study with an understanding of differing views on the subject. The activities are colour coded to match the objectives so that students understand the progress that is being made throughout and promotes an element of independence. The plenary uses a video clip that links topics studied over the previous lessons and gives an insight into the next lesson on the death penalty.
