Contains explanations of methods of encryption such as Asymmetric and Symmetric and Vernam Cipher (One time pad). Contains a programming task to create RSA encryption algorithm. This is a challenging task but a walk-through of the algorithm has been provided (via a wiki book link) and an example solution written in python has also been provided. Best done over two lessons.
Included is a Powerpoint with notes and tasks to help aid progress.
