One lesson that teaches students about the logic gates used in electronics (and pneumatics) to control a complex system. It includes, AND, OR and NOT gates as required in the AQA GCSE Engineering course. Students can practice the use of logic gates with CAD simulation software like CircuitWizard. Lesson includes a powerpoint lesson and a word document worksheet for students to fill in.
Recommend use of Hodder’s AQA GCSE (9-1) Engineering Textbook and/or Revision Notes. Alternatively, the internet may be used, e.g BBC bitesize.
