So many students struggle to know how to effectively revise for English, especially language. Too many fall into the trap of just learning quotations by rote, highlighting things, rereading notes and, for English language especially, being complacent because the texts are unseen. This document aims to provide some quick, simple examples, most of which can be done with pen and paper, for effective revision, as well as organisational tips. Examples are based on AQA texts but these could easily be adapted.
