There is a PPT with equivalent fraction word problems on there so you can guide their understanding. There is also an activity sheet with a range of word problems and activities that challenge the children's understanding of equivalent fractions. I ask the children to draw diagrams (bar model for me) to prove their thinking. If you find this useful, please leave a review and I'll add more resources.
