This is an ESL English lesson, tailored to the new Pearson Edexcel (2023) ESL GCSE examination series. The lesson focuses on the first unit: Myself and Others.
It looks at the features of a review and contains comprehension questions for two different review examples. They then write their own review about a short film. Most tasks are differentiated to accommodate those with a basic level of English, to the more proficient speakers.
Students get the chance to practice speaking, reading and writing skills in this lesson.
