EYFS 2021 Maths Yearly Overviews for 2-3's and 3-4's

This resource is two documents, one for ages 2-3 and one for 3-4’s.

Each document breaks down the maths learning intentions outlined in the 2021 Development Matters document, into a maths curriculum, with clear and manageable weekly objectives.

This ensures that all staff working in your setting are able to ensure that they are delivering the maths content required, ensuring that children make good progression within the wide range of mathematical and shape space and measure knowledge and skills.

The weekly objectives can be used to supplement maths learning through play, while in provision (ensuring that resources and invitations to play are regularly refreshed to support maths progress) or to inform small group or whole class maths sessions.
