A warm-up, reading task, and writing task based around ‘The Ugly Duckling’.
Includes:
- PowerPoint with warm up game in which students guess fairy stories from clues, speed thinking activity, and bingo activity.
- Word document with ‘The Ugly Duckling’ split up with discussion questions, and writing task in which students plan their own story with the same moral as ‘The Ugly Duckling’.
Suitable for capable Year One students or Year Two, but probably a little advanced for Reception.
