Fractions Are Fun PowerPoint Lesson

Fractions Are Fun is a power point slide show used to reinforce and test a student's understanding of fraction concepts. The 32 animated slides include reducing fractions, common denominators, mixed numbers, improper fractions, equivalent fractions as well as pictures and graphs requiring fraction representation. There are twenty examples students are asked to solve and write down their answers as well as discussion slides where students are asked to orally explain specific questions relating to fractions. This power point is designed as a whole-classroom lesson where all students are involved. It is intended to be used as a reinforcement lesson and not for individual instruction. It has been tested on middle school students of all levels.
