French Pet Playing Cards

These French pets playing cards are a simple and fun way to help pupils embed their learning of pet vocabulary. Suitable for pupils aged 5 to 12 and SEN and EAL pupils. There are two sets of cards, one with the vocabulary written underneath the pets and one with only the pictures. The masculine vocabulary words are written in blue and the feminine words are in red to help pupils recognize word gender and spelling.

Use the pet cards to play matching games, hide and seek, pet snap and to develop speaking, listening and reading skills. Print and stick onto card or laminate to create durable playing sets. Great to play both in lessons and during wet breaks and golden time, giving pupils independent learning opportunities at their own pace.
