French resource! Let's talk about nature

This EFL teaching resource is available in PDF and PowerPoint formats and covers a wide range of topics. Nature and all that surrounds it. More specifically deforestation, gardening and the benefits of plants. In this sheet you have :

• A warm-up to talk about environmental issues

• An audiovisual comprehension that talks about deforestation

• An original speaking “creation of a natural country”

• Two listenings: the consumption of fruit and vegetables in short circuits and a quite original anti-waste measure.

• An oral interaction: “the negotiator” which aims to put learners in pairs and buy fruit and vegetables at the market. They will each have a profile with constraints that will push them to negotiate.

• Three posters “phrases to know to negotiate at the market”, “fruits” and “vegetables” in A4 and A3 formats

• A speed game to learn about fruit and vegetables without knowing it. This game has two versions that can be adapted depending on the number of students.

• A reading that is designed to help a gardener who is looking for a new vegetable garden. You look at several advertisements and send him the best one (check boxes in a table).

• A reading that talks about the benefits of plants in the office.

• A speed-dating that encourages students to exchange their opinions on the topics of waste, nature and ecology.

• A complete vocabulary sheet about nature

• Three exercises to practice the vocabulary acquired during the course

• Four speakings to debate and increase your vocabulary

• A writing to give some hope and commitment to issues concerning nature
